Unsatisfied

I was EXTREMELY EXCITED about this product eversince the first time I saw it online. Could anything be cuter?
But the reality differed, completely. FIRST OFF, the COWMOOFLAGE is delicious. No other print could personally top it. But as for everything else- I was disappointed. The carseat is very narrow. Chubbier babies WILL NOT FIT after about 4 or 5 months. And it's not even worth the price. Honestly. We also have a Chicco Keyfit 30 and the ease of EVERYTHING on that carseat exceeds this one.
Had to return this item, will purchase a Britax Convertible in COWMOO. Maybe she'll actually fit.

I LOVE THIS CARSEAT!!!

I love this carseat! It is sturdy, and durable and there is nothing flimsy about it. I really trust my baby in it, and love the 5 point restraint system. The levels on the side come in handy so that you can be sure that there head will not drop forward. I love the idea of the rebound bar on the base. And I absolutely love how tight I can secure the base to the are. It doesn't move an inch!

Sturdy Carseat

We are very happy with this carseat. We choose this one over other brands (Graco, Safety First, etc) because of its side impact protection. It's a sturdy car seat, and we feel our baby is very safe in it. It has a generous sun shade, which is helpful when we're out and about during nap times to provide a dimmer atmosphere. The carseat also fits into our BOB Revolution stroller with the car seat adapter bar. Totally worth it. It is bulkier and probably a little heavier than most other car seats, but I think it's safer and well worth it.

Not as expected

On the recommendation of the salesman at a large baby store, I purchased this car seat along with an additional base. I just went to a car seat fitting clinic where I was told that the car seat did not meet the 80/20 rule in my 2004 Subaru Forester (80 percent of the base has to fit on the seat and 20 percent can be hanging off). The very experienced woman from my local fire department told me that she NEVER recommends Britax infant seats because of this problem. The bases fit only on the largest back seats (usually found in very large SUVs). Luckily, we have another car in which the car seat fits, so we will use it, but I was extremely disappointed. She also said that, though they claim that the seat is safer because of the extra bar, it isn't proportionately safer to warrant purchasing this more expensive seat over the Graco Snugride or the Chicco Keyfit. I would STRONGLY recommend that you make sure the car seat you buy fits your car BEFORE you buy it. Chances are, the Britax will not fit.

Safe travels

This car seat is very easy to install and feel very safe with my baby in it at all times. The cowmooflage is really a nice look and will allow us to use for our future babies as well, boy or girl. Only draw back is that the carrier is quite heavy.
