Worth the money

After doing a lot of research for an "upgrade" from my son's infant seat, we settled on the Britax Marathon and couldn't be happier. It is sturdy and comfortable. I started using it when he had outgrown his infant seat at about 13 months. The first time I put him in it, he actually slept for the first time in a long time while in the car. I think ths seat is very comfortable for him. It's also not bulky, as I have a compact car. This is THE BEST car seat, I can't say enough about it. Believe the hype about Britax, they are great products!!

great love it

This is not exactly like the picture but I like it better, it has a little bit of tan through out the pattern which keeps it from showing every little piece of dirt. Fits the seat great...if I could change anything it would be to make the openings for the strap a little bigger..really have to struggle to fit them through the openings.

poor quality control and funky factory smell.

To get the funky smell (and strange taste) off of the new seat cover we washed it on the gentile cycle with regular detergent. The grey cloth center section of the seat cover split at all of the seams around the belt holes. This was not a problem with the original cover that was all the plush material. I suspect the problem has only to do with the covers with the cloth inserts. I was able to return the item for a full refund with no hassle.
